Hey Y’all, I’m Jackie a Tennessee Wedding Photographer based in Nashville.
To know me, it’s loving that you’ll always know that I will order the same drink at Starbucks (Grande white chocolate mocha with nonfat milk, no whip), my favorite store is Target, I’m always a fan of a good excel spreadsheet, and I’m fascinated with my Japanese heritage.
Over the years I have photographed well over 150 weddings and still loving experiencing each special moment. With a heart for service, I spend my days gushing over my clients making them the center of my universe. My promise to you is to laugh with you, cry with you, and always dance my heart out, awesome bad dance move in all.

I strive to be a calming presence and the most worry-free part of your day so you can spend your day focusing on what matter most. It’s in capturing the real authentic moments and little nuances that go unnoticed.

I would hire J. Mikado again and again. Jackie didn’t feel like just another wedding vendor. She photographed me for my engagement session, bridal session and my wedding and each time she was very patient, creative and meticulous. She cared about capturing my memories and special moments just as much as I did. Although she was very professional, she felt more like a close family friend because she was so personable, even with my “difficult” family members. I loved that she didn't leave any moment of my wedding day missed or forgotten. I was able to look at photos and see people/events that I, myself, had missed due to how hectic my wedding day was. I still sit down and look at my wedding photos and live the day all over again. I’m so grateful to J. Mikado for capturing so many special moments in my life. I couldn’t think of a better photographer to be apart of this new beginning with my husband and I.

My girlfriend wanted a maternity shoot and I turned it into a surprise engagement shoot with the help of Jackie. My (now) wife was very surprised and Jackie did a wonderful job capturing the moment. The pictures turned out beautiful and we used her again for our newborn shoot. I could not have asked for a better photographer to capture these milestones.
